WELCOME TO
CIVITAS GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

ONE PEOPLE, ONE COMMUNITY

Civitas Global Educational Services (GES) is dedicated to creating bridges between nations and cultures based on friendship and mutual respect.

We facilitate opportunities for students, educators, administrators, and other professionals who seek to forge relationships with their international counterparts in higher education.

Our goal is to create a global community at the post-secondary level fueled by shared international experiences. Our community is based on friendship, academic excellence, respect for diverse perspectives, and an understanding that there is strength in inclusion.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF UNIVERSITY OF CIENFUEGOS

In case you missed it, the University of Cienfuegos celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding on December 7, 2019. Educators from around the globe gathered for the 40th anniversary event. We asked students, professors and administrators who have collaborated with UCf over the last six years, to please send some celebratory words to share with the university.

The responses poured in so we combined as many as we could into this digital toast to UCf. Thank you to all of the students, professors, administrators, and staff who have gone above and beyond to make these collaborations possible. Thank you to all who continue to commit themselves to keeping collaborative international education possible.

BRIDGING AGAIN

As we emerge from this global pandemic, Civitas GES remains dedicated to creating bridges between the U.S., Cuba and all our continental neighbors. We are also equally committed to the safety of our participants, our partners and the communities where we engage and collaborate. It is our responsibility to respect those in our community by taking the proper precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In the context of travel, there is no “zero risk” of getting and spreading the novel virus. However, to ensure a safe and rewarding exchange, we are actively monitoring the global health landscape, national and international advisories, and collaborating with our partner institutions here and abroad as part of our comprehensive risk mitigation strategy.

We return to our mission to building and sustaining long-lasting partnerships and impactful experiences in a world where mutual respect plays a bigger role now more than ever.
